Membership
1. Players
Membership is open to players aged 19 and over. The season runs from 1 September to 31 August of the following year. The membership fee for the 2010-2011 season is 200 euros (reduced to 130 euro for students and unemployed). Membership fees must be paid before 1 November, or a late payment penalty of 25 euros will be applied, rising to 50 euros if the payment is still outstanding on 1 December. Players should complete the application form (submitted either on-line or in paper form) and payments can be made either using PayPal or by cheque made payable to ‘BRFC Paris”.
Obtaining a license: A player’s membership fee includes his yearly license costs (this is mandatory for all member’s wishing to play in the FFR leagues): You will also need to provide the following documents:
- the "AS" (green form WE'll provide YOU) filled up and stamped by your doctor
- a photocopy of your ID (Passport, Identity Card)
- two photos
- a justification of your insurance (photocopy of the Carte Vitale, E111, private insurance...)
- for non-French players, you need a clearance from the former Federation you belonged to. Basically, you've got to ask your former club to contact the Federation and give you an authorization to leave the club. As soon as the Federation has all the docs, we'll contact them and make them fax us the Clearance. It sounds hard to get but as soon as everybody speaks the same language, it can be done within an hour.
- for overseas players (outside the EU), we also need a photocopy of your visa to check the duration of your journey.
Playing Member’s Privileges and Obligations
The club organizes weekly trainings for players as well as matches on Saturdays in the Corpo league, in addition to friendlies and touring sides.
Each player will receive a Membership Card entitling them to special offers organized with our sponsors as well as invitations to all social events organized by the club.
2. Alumni Members
An Alumni membership has been created to allow ex-players to maintain links with the club and each other and continue to support and promote the club. Alumni Membership is organized on a yearly basis following the BRFC season from 1 September to 31 August of the following year. The membership fee for the 2010-2011 season is 40 euros for thos living in the Ile de France are (reduced to 20 euros for those living outside Ile de France). Alumni should complete the application form (submitted either on-line or in paper form) and payments can be made either using PayPal or by cheque made payable to ‘BRFC Paris”.
Alumni Member’s Privileges and Obligations
Each Alumni Member will receive a Membership Card entitling them to special offers organized with our sponsors as well as invitations to all social events organized by the club.
Club news will be sent to Alumni Members on a regular basis, and an Alumni Office has been set up to communicate with Alumni Members.
3. Social Members
A Social membership category has been created to allow family and friends to maintain links with the club and each other and continue to support and promote the club. Social Membership is organized on a yearly basis following the BRFC season from 1 September to 31 August of the following year. The membership fee for the 2010-2011 season is 40 euros for thos living in the Ile de France are (reduced to 20 euros for those living outside Ile de France). Social Member Applicants should complete the application form (submitted either on-line or in paper form) and payments can be made either using PayPal or by cheque made payable to ‘BRFC Paris”.
Social Member’s Privileges and Obligations
Social Members will be expected to be able to demonstrate close links to the club including support and attendance at club games.
Each Social Member will receive a Membership Card entitling them to special offers organized with our sponsors as well as invitations to all social events organized by the club.
Club news will be sent to Social Members on a regular basis.
4. Termination of Membership
Memberships must be renewed on an annual basis. The BRFC Committee reserves the right to terminate memberships.
