| It was a good day, not so cold and not so hot in a beautiful complex. The pitch was waiting for a good Rugby "training" match.
Surprise, we were only 14... and just 3 front row players, our dear president, Steve and Christophe, the rest of the scrum with Sam, Daz , Alex, a new British guest player (Chris, 4) and a "joker" borrowed from BDF.
The fight was rude versus a keen and aggressive team. BRFC was lucky in the first half because a lot of BDF clumsiness...
The BRFC defense was present with tackles and kicked a lot of possessions but never found the line because pression perhaps. The ref heard a feeble mark in our 22, but finally British woke up and found opportunitiess with a intelligent Mark (playing at 9), Andry and Amaury and BRFC scored a try (number 4) while conceding one.
The second half was very different and our opponent more aggressive and fresh thanks to good team management. BRFC became tired and several missed tackles began. Banque de France scored again by 2 unconverted tries behind a courageous BRFC defense and our front row of course.
We finally lost the game.
We hope that for the next game and before league match, more players will be present and motivated too.
