BRFC vs ADP Roissy: 52 - 14 Not much to say about this game, ADP having promised to bring a strong side turned up with only 9 players. So first and foremost a huge thank you to Dan, Neal, Jin, Yashushi and Brendan who all donned the ADP colours to give us a game. And thank you to Yakub for reffing. From a BRFC point of view, it's difficult to read into it too much as it was one way traffic the whole game. Strong running and clever play in the midfield from Alex and Ismael created an abundance of opportunities. Scores came from: Ismael x 3, Tom X 2, Mark, Derek and Joe, plus 6 conversions from Alex, for a final score of 52-14. And that's pretty much all there is to say on the game. There were a few strong contenders for MOTM; Tom at 9, Derek at 2, Sam again played well at 15 as did Ismael at 13. Arun, Rob, Rick and two names ran it well from the boiler house and Nick showed good stamina to chase the backs around all game. Special mention goes to Harry at 7 and Brendan at 13 (second half). But without a shadow of doubt man of the match goes to Neal, playing at 9 for ADP he was an absolute handful and gave us a torrid time and showed us what we need to work on for two weeks time. The next game is on the 3rd October, away to CENTRALE PARIS ANCIENS RUGBY CLUB, and do not underestimate the fact this will be a huge game. We've set down a marker for the season now, beating Thales and ADP both well. And we've delivered a firm message to everyone in our league, so it's going to be cup final day for every team we play, on top of it they all love trying to beat the British so we need to push on strongly from these last two games. That means we have to make training. It's important we all get along and make use of Jaime's knowledge and do not waste his time. We'll also train next Saturday at our home pitch so please make yourself available for both of these, it's important. With the league one week away we don't want to lose the momentum from our pre-season games. If you can't make training then please let myself or Rob know. Graeme
