New polo shirts

Guys,

It’s been a difficult couple of weeks, with preparation and organisation less then ideal and two tough losses behind us it’s important we regroup this week and focus on what we want to achieve with the rest of the season.

As we’ve seen in the last two weeks, regardless of how good we are as individual players, and we are very good, a well organised and drilled side always hold the advantage on match day. It’s why we were such a strong team at the start of the season, and it’s really no coincidence that since training and attendance has fallen off we have struggled come match day.

So this week we need to make a concerted effort to get to one or both of our training sessions, and while it is by no means compulsory, preference on match day will be given to those who have made themselves available for, and attended, training.

Tuesday:

With two hard and physical games behind us we won’t be messing about with heavy duty contact sessions, instead it will be a fun session with skill and going over our attack pattern, with little, but some, contact work.

This is an important session with a lot of new players coming in we’ve lost focus and we are at a stage of the season where we need to reassert our game plan and get everyone singing from the same hymn sheet. We’ll also be doing very backs specific work at the end so it’d be very useful to have as many of you there as possible.

Meeting point: Pont de Sevres (Metro line 9) at 8.00PM (Go to street level - meet in central reservation for buses)

We will have a car pick up from Pont de Sevres

Thursday:

This will most probably be a defence session with Jamie, again with little contact but concentrating on individual roles in the alignment, and then moving onto individual and unit skills.

Stade des Fauvettes, rue de Paris, in DOMONT (outskirts of Paris)

Meeting Point: Gare du Nord at 7:30pm (Go to street level - meet in front of turnstiles in the station that lead to 'Train de banlieue' - Surface Train) Take 7.37pm Train to Domont - train line ‘H’ (or next one, but try to make it on time)

10 min walk from the station to the ground

Saturday: ASPTT - AWAY meeting point and times to be confirmed

Please make the effort to let us know if you will be attending training, and if you are available to play this weekend, we have a tough game this week and it'd be good to turn things around with a good performance, and a win.

Cheers

Graeme
