Long update this week so split into playing and Social:
 
Playing: Two BRFC related teams heading off to play this weekend with the Oldies playing in the Dieppe vets tournament, and the young bucks playing in the Amsterdam 7's - good luck to both sides.

Sevres 7's:
 
Congratulations to the 7's team for going one better this year and winning the bowl competition at the Sevres 7's. Next week the Amsterdam 7's plate.
 
So a very large thank you to Paul, James, Sam, Fred, Austen, Yakub and Jonny. They played some great rugby and were excellent ambassadors for the club.
 

Touch Rugby - Invalides
 
No touch this week, due to a committee meeting and various parties on Thursday (see below), we'll pick up again next week.
 

BRFCP vs BSP Old Boys -  26th June 2010
 
As some of you may know Derek Lewis has been a long time stalwart of the Club, former captain, president, coach, manager - I think he's probably driven the team bus at some point as well.
 
This year see's his retirement from teaching at the British School of Paris and as part of the festivities to mark this occasion the BRFC Paris will be playing a British School of Paris Old Boys team.
 
This will be a big event so please put the 26th June in your diary and let me know ASAP if you will not be around to play that weekend.

Marks Leaving Drinks:
 
After four hugely enjoyable seasons with the BRFC I will be leaving Paris at the end of May and will be having leaving drinks at the Cricketer from 19.30 on Thursday 27th May. It would be a pleasure to see you there to have one last one for the road.

Charles Birthday:
 
As the oldies will re-oxygen themselves in Dieppe and as the youngs will meet prostitutes in Amsterdam next weekend, the event for my Bday is postponed:
