This Week & Summer Schedule

This Week & summer Schedule:

Touch Rugby

Pre-Season Training (don't worry it's not yet)

All,

This week:
just to give you a heads up that touch rugby will not be on tomorrow - with the world cup semi's and a few people away we decided to move this weeks session to Thursday. So please let me know if you will be able to make Thursdays session so we can confirm on Thursday morning.  As always anyone is welcome to come along to this no matter their standard. Old, new and current members are all welcome, and friends and family are welcome to join in.

BRFC Summer Touch & Pre-Season:

Just to give everyone a rough idea of how the summer and then pre-season will go, from next week we will play touch rugby on both Tuesdays and Thursdays for the rest of July and August - just to stay fit and keep the hands in - it's by no means compulsory but obviously the fitter and sharper you are come the season the better for you and the team, and the more of us there the more fun it is.

With the regular league looking no less competitive this year we will need a good strong pre-season behind us. This means Pre-season for the regular 15's will start either the last week of August or the first week of September, and we will have at least two warm up matches in September ahead of the league starting in October again - we are aiming for 3 with a training session on the free weekend.

In all likely hood we will be training as a team at Sevres on Tuesdays during September, and playing touch and doing basic skills at Invalides on Thursdays whilst the weather is good. Once the league starts we'll reassess how everything is going and probably reduce it to just Tuesdays at Sevres, with occasional specialist sessions at Domont when big games are coming up - Tuesday will always be our main training session throughout the season.

And lastly we're always looking for new players, of all standards, so if you know anyone who's interested get them along to the Touch rugby sessions and see how they like it.

Many thanks

Graeme
